Signup: 1pm. Contest: 1:30pm. First 10 accepted.

Everyone loves ice cream…this is your chance to prove how much! Enter the Tennessee State Fair Ice Cream Eating contest this year and demonstrate your ice cream eating love AND skill! Winners will receive an official TSF Ice Cream eating trophy.

Hula Hoop Contest

Saturday 9/17

So you think you can Hula? Sign up for the Hula Hoop contest at the Tennessee State Fair and get a chance to show everyone how well you can move your hips! Winners will receive an official TSF Hula Hoop trophy. Sign up will begin at 10:30 a.m. and will be limited to the first 24 entries. Contest will start at 11 a.m. and contestants will compete in groups of four.

1st Annual Tennessee State Fair Cornhole Championships

Saturday 9/17

The bags will fly at the Tennessee State Fair Corn Hole Championships Saturday, September 17th, 2011. The pressure will be on to name best team at the inaugural event.
 
The event is open to anyone older than 10. Be one of the first 64 to sign up and win a chance at State Fair glory! The event is free with fair admission. Registration will be onsite at 11am. This event will be held in Volunteer Village.
 
PRIZES: Monetary Awards for 1st ($300), 2nd ($150), and 3rd place ($50).

7th Annual Karaoke Showdown

Preliminary Rounds each night of the fair will be held on the Volunteer Village Stage.

Friday, September 9th through Saturday, September 17th
Registration begins at 7:00 p.m.
Contest starts at 7:15 p.m.

Each night the top two singers selected by judges will be asked back for Sunday’s Final Round.
 
Final Round is scheduled for Sunday, September 18th
Check in: 6:30 p.m.
Contest begins at 7:15 p.m. and is slated to end at 8:00 p.m.
 
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three contestants - 1st place = $500, 2nd place = $250, and 3rd place = $150

2011 Tennessee State Fairest of the Fair and Talent Competition

We're excited about this year's event! Mark your calendar: September the 16th, 2011 for the Tennessee State Fair Pageants. This year both age groups (15 & younger and 16 & older) will compete on the same night. Come out and support these talented young ladies!

Miss Logan Sparkman was the winner of the Fairest of the Fair 2009. Ms. Sparkman of Sparta went on to win the Tennessee Association of Fairs Fairest of the Fair competition.
