There is so much more to the Tennessee State Fair besides Food and Rides. Farm Bureau and the Tennessee State Fair have added a new educational program to the 2011 Field Trip Day on Tuesday, September 13th, 2011

During your field trip, children are able to tour a variety of FUN STATIONS, each of which is filled with learning interactions about agriculture, sciences and technology.

Farm Bureau will be hosting Agriculture in the Classroom orientation in the Show Arena including Cowboy Dan. This will last around 25 minutes. Due to the limited number of seats, student groups will need to reserve a time to attend on their field trip form.

Bring your students to the Tennessee State Fair for a free educational and entertaining experience. Learn about livestock; see 4-H and Agricultural exhibits, as well as arts and crafts.

The Midway will open early only on Tuesday!

Buildings and Exhibits open at 9:00 a.m. and close at 10:30 p.m. Rides will be open from 9am-3pm, and 5pm-10pm.
